Ying Liu is a pioneering researcher in artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. As Head of AI, R&D at TG0, she develops technology that translates human movement and touch into digital commands—advancing everything from gaming to healthcare applications. Originally from China, Ying came to the UK for postgraduate studies and earned a PhD at Queen Mary University of London in condensed matter and materials physics. Though she initially had little interest in coding, she discovered its power while analysing research data and became fascinated by machine learning.
