BIO

Tamika Abaka-Wood is Problem Solver at global research and strategy consultancy B+A. She has a background in psychology and cultural anthropology and has been fortunate enough to have spent 10+ years developing and running people-centred research, insight, foresight + creative strategy processes for clients such as Nike, Spotify, Beats by Dre, NARS and Lego at B+A.

Tamika is one of the co-creators of the newly launched Beyond course, a new "learning experience" which aims to help the career-curious "redesign their lives”. 

Tamika is co-founder and creative director of Plantain Papers, an annual print journal stocked at Moma PS1, Somerset House and The Underground Museum.

She created and curates the long-term audio service and archive: Dial-An-Ancestor.

She guest lectures at the University of the Arts [BA, 2018-2022], London and Parsons School of Design, NYC [MFA, 2022].

She is on the board of directors at BDYD, a local charity in East London.
