Dr Florence Albert graduated from the University of Oxford in 2013 with an Honours degree in Biology, which includes modules in Genetics, Ecology, Molecular Biology, and Physiology. Her Final Year project was on sequencing and reconstructing the phylogenetic tree of Stylasteridae.

Florence then pursued a PhD in genetics and flight mechanics at the Royal Veterinary College, London, studying the effect of wing shape on flight performance in Drosophila. During her PhD, she also did an internship at Blue Bear Systems Research, an unmanned aerial systems research company.

Dr Albert joined Albright IP in February 2018 and is involved in the drafting, filing and general prosecution of patents. Having grown up in France, Florence is fluent in both English and French.

In her spare time, when not studying, Florence enjoys baking and spends time in the local gym.
