Yair Reem

Yair is a co-founder of Extantia with over 15 years of direct investing experience, including 5 years leading investment activities for the Hasso Plattner family office, where he managed investments ranging from early stage to growth. During that time, Hasso Plattner was a founding investor in Breakthrough Energy Ventures, with whom Yair collaborated closely throughout its inception phase. Yair brings extensive experience investing from early through growth stage across a wide range of industries and markets, as well as constructing and managing fund portfolios. He leads Extantia's investment strategy and process across all funds. Yair is originally from Israel and holds a B.Sc. from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, a Master's in Public Management from The Hertie School, and an Advanced Management Program degree from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
