Tina Antwi, also known as “Tina Charisma” is a Ghanaian British Beauty Queen Finalist, Curator, Speaker, Writer, International Development Consultant and Empowerment Coach based in London. Tina is the founder of “Charisma Campaign” an NGO that empowers and influences change through creative, wellbeing and sustainable solutions globally. In addition to, her initiatives in the international advocacy space she works professionally in International development consultancy and previously in the Charity, Government and Media sector as well as holding several positions in youth organisations around the world. Tina campaigns , writes and speaks on issues related to women empowerment, diversity in the beauty, culture and fashion industry as well as impact investment and sustainable development.

Reflecting on tech and the current COVID-19 landscape

Throughout history there have been several significant events which have led to mass deaths defining the course of civilisation. Among these are World Wars, plagues, pandemics, and epidemics including the black death, flu pandemic of 1889-1890 and more recently Swine flu, Ebola, and our present challenges with COVID-19. They are all examples of major historical outbreaks that have taken lives and steered the course for public health development, social and medical innovations some which still being used today.
