Rene Rumberg

Rene Rumberg has been working in marketing for nearly eight years, mainly working in the private sector as head of marketing communications and digital marketing manager for different technology and startup companies, including digital marketing activities for the state-owned Estonian Tourist Board. Rene believes that it should be everyone's duty to share their knowledge and know-how with less experienced people in their area of expertise. That's why he enjoys mentoring early-stage startup companies and helping them take their first steps in marketing. Rene has mentored entrepreneurs in different programs, including Startup Wise Guys & European Innovation Academy entrepreneurship program, the World's Largest Extreme Entrepreneurship program for university students. Rene is also passionate about journalism. He enjoys interviewing people from different backgrounds, from finance to computer science, and being a member of the business festival sTARTUp Day team enables him to do that exactly.
