Professor Mark Lewis

Professor Mark Lewis is CEO of Myomaker Bio, a spinout from Loughborough University that develops human muscle models for preclinical applications such as drug development. Professor Lewis has more than 25 years’ experience in the development and applications of human muscle organs, and has authored and co-authored more than 50 publications in the skeletal muscle field. Myomaker recently secured £325,000 investment from SFC Capital, which will allow it to expand its scientific team and increase production of its muscle models.
