Professor Marcantonio Spada

Professor Marcantonio Spada leads and oversees the delivery and governance of Onebright's clinical services. His role enables Onebright to continue to improve access to and outcomes from existing clinical pathways, as well as drive the development of new specialist pathways. Professor Spada previously held the role of Professor of Addictive Behaviours and Mental Health and the Dean of the School of Applied Sciences at London South Bank University. He remains Emeritus Professor at the University. For more than 25 years, he has worked in both private practice and community mental health settings as a psychological therapist, supervisor and trainer. As a chartered psychologist, accredited cognitive behavioural therapy practitioner, academic and researcher, Professor Spada has made a significant contribution to psychological theory and therapy, authoring over 200 scientific journal articles and establishing the field of metacognition in addictive behaviours.
