Professor Aline Miller

As well as being Director of the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Catalyst, which is led by The University of Manchester. She is also Professor of Biomolecular Engineering in the Department of Chemical Engineering and part of the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology. Her research focuses on polymer and peptide design, development and application. Inspired by nature’s materials, she explores the chemistry of these molecular building blocks and uses a suite of experimental tools to engineer and scale them into functional materials that people use in everyday products, focussing on regenerative medicine, looking at materials for tissue generation, tissue repair, and drug delivery.
