Mike Smeed

As Managing Director, Mike is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of InMotion Ventures, leading new deals and aligning fund activities with Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) transformation plans. Mike joined InMotion from Chery Jaguar Land Rover, a Shanghai-based joint venture between JLR and Chinese car manufacturer Chery Automobile Co., where he was the Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining the OEM, he was Commercial Finance Director within the Global Brands division of Walgreens Boots Alliance, a cross-functional team responsible for launching new brands, products, and services in existing and new territories.
