Laurent van Lerberghe is a seasoned digital health investor and strategic leader with over 25 years of C-suite experience in global pharma, including roles as Chief Strategy Officer at Sanofi and Commercial VP at Abbott. At Sanofi, he led major transformation initiatives – creating the Gene Therapy Unit, driving key acquisitions in oncology, immunology, and digital health, and helping raise the company’s market value to record highs. In the past year, Laurent founded KELES, a venture capital firm focused on European growth-stage digital health companies. After a successful “stealth” phase, KELES is now poised to accelerate innovation by integrating technology, data, and science to address urgent healthcare challenges. Combining deep corporate and investment experience, Laurent brings a 360° view of healthcare, from R&D to commercialization and exit. His mission through KELES is to advance digital health innovation across Europe, improving access, scalability, and patient outcomes.
