Khyati Sundaram

Khyati Sundaram is the CEO of Applied: a behavioural science-backed tool for ethical hiring. Applied helps companies remove bias from hiring processes by removing gendered words from job adverts, anonymising applications, holding structured interviews and hiring based on skills (rather than proxies on CVs). In her former life, Khyati’s pursuits range from co-founding and leading an AI company focused on building sustainable supply chains, to investment banking with JP Morgan and RBS. She has a breadth of experience in data science, product development, and fundraising. She also holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA from the London School of Business (with an exchange at the Wharton School).
