Heinin Zhang

Heinin left her career in Sales & Trading to pursue her own entrepreneurial venture. Yhangry is the first affordable chef platform, bringing casual, restaurant-like dining to its customers and their friends. With Yhangry, Heinin and her Co-founder, Siddhi Mittal graduated from the Google for Startups Residency program in February 2020, and had to revolutionise and adapt Yhangry’s whole revenue model to a world struck by COVID-19.

YHANGRY is a London-based startup providing private chefs for social get-togethers at home. We launched our beta website in May 2019, when Siddhi Mittal and I were still working on the trading floor at Barclays in Canary Wharf. We were 10 months into our startup journey when COVD-19 brought our business to a grinding halt.
