Heidi Salmela

Heidi works for Intralink, the international business development consultancy delivering the UK-APAC Tech Growth Programme on behalf of the UK government.  Based in the company’s Tokyo office, she has experience in establishing and implementing market entry strategies for companies entering the Japanese market in sectors including retail, infrastructure and femtech. She also has significant experience in supporting trade and inward investment for foreign governments, including the State of Missouri and the Washington State Department of Commerce in Japan. Heidi was born and raised in Finland but has lived in Japan for over ten years, having graduated from Temple University Japan in 2015.
