Enhancing the future of work

Zoom's new application on Apple Vision Pro caters to various work settings – be it in-person, remote, or hybrid – by aiding in connection, productivity, and collaboration among colleagues and customers. The app offers a native meeting experience with exceptional audio and video quality, simplifying the processes of starting, joining, collaborating in, and scheduling meetings.

For Apple Vision Pro users, Zoom on visionOS introduces several innovative features:

• Personas: participants are represented by a spatially accurate version of themselves, allowing others in the meeting to observe their facial and hand movements
• Spatial Zoom Experience: this feature provides a scalable immersive environment, ideal for users who wish to feel as though they are in the same room with their colleagues and customers, without needing extra equipment or setup

Anticipated additions to Zoom on Apple Vision Pro, expected later this spring, include:

• 3D Object Sharing: particularly useful in industries like media and design, this feature enables the sharing of 3D files in an environmental context. For example, animators or game designers can share and collaborate on character models using this capability
• Zoom Team Chat: integrated with Zoom Meetings, Team Chat facilitates easy information sharing and team connectivity. Users on Apple Vision Pro can collaborate and streamline communications using Team Chat within the app
• Real-world Pinning: this allows users to pin up to five Zoom Meeting participants in their physical space, with an option to remove the background for a more connected experience

In December 2023, Zoom announced its new app for Apple TV, further expanding its mission to offer a unified platform that enables boundless human connections across the Apple ecosystem, which includes iPhone, iPad, Mac, and CarPlay.

Zoom will be available for download from the App Store coinciding with the launch of Apple Vision Pro on February 2, 2024.
