Workspace Design Show Opens Next Week: Everything You Need to Know Before the Doors Open
The wait is nearly over. Workspace Design Show (5th - 6th November 2025, Hall 5, RAI Amsterdam) is set to welcome thousands of workplace professionals next week including architects, designers, and occupiers from across Europe.
This year’s edition invites visitors to “Activate their Senses”, turning every corner of Hall 5 into a vibrant, multi-sensory exploration of how design can transform the way we work, feel, and connect.
Before you head to the show, here’s your quick “how to get here + what to expect” checklist:
Getting Here Made Easy
- Print your badge before you arrive – this will save you time on entry. Simply collect your lanyard at the registration area and walk straight in.
- By Train: Direct service from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam RAI Station (10 minutes). The venue is just a 3-minute walk from the station.
- By Metro: Take Line 52 to Europaplein Station, right next to Hall 5.
- By Car: Follow A10 Ring Road – Exit S109 (RAI).
- Pre-book your parking for €29/day and save time on arrival
Start Your Visit with a Treat
As you enter Hall 5, you’ll be greeted by the aroma of the onsite pasta station, serving freshly made dishes to keep you fueled for a full day of discovery.

The show opens into a setup featuring experiential spaces curated by some of the Netherlands’ most creative design studios:
- Radiance Lounge by M Moser Associates
- Mood Board Contest by Biophilic Design Academy
- Design Talks Lounge by UNS
- Occupiers Forum Space by Casper Schwarz Architects
- Workplace Experience Lounge by Mecanoo
Each space offers a sensory take on workplace design with colour, light, texture and sound shaping every interaction.
Conference Agenda Highlights
Across three dedicated stages, Occupiers Forum, Design Talks, and Workplace Experience Talks, over 120 speakers from leading organisations will share insights into the rapidly evolving workplace.
Day 1, 5 November, kicks off with "How healthy workplaces can shape the future of wellbeing at work" (09:50 – 10:35), chaired by Robert Thiemann, Director at Betterness, with panellists Michiel Hofman, Partner at HofmanDujardin; Caroline Bos, Co-Founder of UNS; and Collin Burry, Design Principal at Gensler.
"Exploring the role and value of the modern workplace" (09:55 – 10:45), chaired by Pieter van der Laan, Partner & Workplace Strategist at YNNO, featuring Marnix Mali, Director of Real Estate & Workspace Services at Booking.com; Izabella Lorenz, Global Real Estate & Workplace Strategy at Zoom; Niels de Goede, VP – Group Real Estate, Workplace and Travel at DSM-Firmenich; and Alexander Danisch, Workplace & Property Director at Ubisoft.
"Building a sense of belonging and community experience in the workplace" (10:10 – 10:55), chaired by José Subero, Global Design Leader and Experience Shaper, with panellists Surya Steijlen, Partner & Architect at LEVS Architecten; Titia Luiten, Business Director Architecture at Sweco; Valerie Schumacher, Senior Consultant, Workplace Strategy at Cushman & Wakefield; and Aser Giménez-Ortega, Head of Interiors and Associate Director at MVRDV.
Day 2, 6 November, will also have sessions kicking off with "Zero compromise: Achieving net-zero carbon targets without sacrificing function, style, or experience" (10:05 – 10:50), chaired by Cherryl Djoegan, Head of Sustainability at Envalue, with panellists Sam Allen, Associate Director, Sustainability at M Moser Associates; John Bosch, Architect Partner at OZ Architect; Laura Favata, Architect Partner at De Unie Architecten; and Robin Swane, Head of ESG at Colliers.
"Aligning global workplace experiences with local cultures" (09:45 – 10:30), chaired by Silvia de Haan, Director of Workplace Consultancy at Parella, featuring Kornelia Kiss, Project Lead, Global Workplace Transformation at Sanofi; Daaf Serne, Head of Workplace & Sustainability at Miro; and Justin Eindhoven, Program Manager, Workplace Strategy & Projects at TomTom.
"Designing to facilitate social interaction and human connection" (09:55 – 10:40), chaired by Sandra Gritti, Director of Experience Insights at Aeto Strategy, with panellists Sanne Schenk, Founding Partner & Director at TANK Design; Rodi van der Horst, Managing Partner at INBO; Sandra J. Klaasman, Interior Architect at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Kara Miotke, Principal at IA Interior Architects.

Evening Highlights
On 5 November from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, the design community gathers for the official networking party, an evening to celebrate creativity, reconnect with peers, and meet new collaborators in a relaxed setting within Hall 5. At the same time, FRAME Awards will celebrate the most forward-thinking interior projects of the year.
