Viridox at CES 2025

At CES 2025, Startups Magazine’s Managing Editor, Paige West, visited the Viridox stand and interviewed Philippe Hébert, Product and Engineering Lead and Co-Founder of Viridox. They discussed why reducing food waste is so important, how the technology works, and its plans for the future.  

Viridox is on a mission to reduce food waste through its atmospheric plasma technology, used as a mist sprayed onto food, to extend the shelf life of fruits and vegetables.  

The team uses Viridox’s patented technology to provide sustainable and eco-friendly sanitisation solutions that extend the shelf life of fresh produce. Viridox offers several products, all tailored to different needs. Seen in the video is the residential use of the technology, but it also offers options for commercial applications, such as in grocery shops, throughout the supply chain, and at the agricultural stage as well.
