SEON expands Executive Team, welcoming new CTO Björn Heckel

SEON, the end-to-end fraud prevention and AML platform helping companies mitigate fraud and safeguard against revenue threats, has recently bolstered its executive team by appointing Björn Heckel as the new Chief Technology Officer.

Boasting over two decades of expertise in software engineering and technical leadership, Heckel has an illustrious history with major tech giants such as Salesforce, Uber, Intuit, and Ellie Mae. His tenure in these companies has been marked by notable achievements in software development management, managing large-scale engineering projects, and a knack for steering teams during rapid growth phases.

Before his engagement with SEON, Heckel held the position of CTO at Taxfix, a company renowned for its innovative approach to simplifying tax filing systems via chat interfaces. Under his guidance, Taxfix successfully secured a series D funding of $220 million. Heckel's previous experiences also include significant roles in Silicon Valley, where he was instrumental in developing SaaS platforms and consumer-facing applications during his executive stints at Salesforce, Uber, and Ellie Mae.
