Mindstone and Templar Advisors collaborate to address AI skills gap in financial services
Mindstone, an AI training platform and global community focused on practical AI applications, has partnered with Templar Advisors, a communications coaching and training firm specialising in financial services. This collaboration will grant Templar's extensive client base access to Mindstone's AI Competency Programme.
The financial services sector is expected to see spending on AI systems more than double, reaching $97 billion by 2027, the highest among five major industries. Despite this, a significant skills gap could hinder the effective utilisation and potential of AI. This partnership aims to address this gap by helping financial institutions upskill their workforce, enabling them to effectively leverage AI technologies, drive innovation, and foster growth without resorting to widespread job cuts. The programme also ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and aligns with the upcoming EU AI Act, which mandates AI training for employees from December for any company offering AI technologies, including popular tools like ChatGPT.
Templar Advisors' entire team will participate in Mindstone's AI Competency Programme, gaining first-hand experience that will enable them to better advise their clients. This approach focuses on enhancing existing talent rather than replacing it with automation, thus driving positive impact in the financial services industry.
Joshua Wöhle, CEO and Co-Founder at Mindstone, commented: "Combining Templar's expertise in running training programs for financial institutions with our expertise in delivering AI programs for non-technical staff, means we can make a real difference in the financial services sector. Our goal is to equip everyone with the tools they need to be successful in an AI-driven world, enabling businesses to grow faster while retaining their valuable human capital."
Joseph Bikart, Co-Founder at Templar Advisors, added: "We're excited to work alongside Mindstone to bring cutting-edge AI training to our clients in the financial services sector. This collaboration will enable us to offer our clients access to a unique blend of industry-specific knowledge and practical AI skills, helping professionals to drive innovation and improve efficiency and productivity in their organisations."
