Manifestation Nation: Over half of Brits believe in the power of manifestation for success
In a nation increasingly drawn to the power of positive thinking, more than half of Brits (52%) are turning to manifestation as their preferred method for turning aspirations into reality. From daily meditations to vision boards, these practices are becoming a regular part of many people's routines.
A survey by Adobe found that one in four Brits (25%) practice manifestation at least weekly. Among those who manifest, the top motivations include achieving health and wellness (51%), financial success (40%), and improvements in personal relationships (30%). Londoners are leading this trend, with 40% practising at least once a week, solidifying the city's status as the UK's manifestation capital.
Manifestation resonates strongly with younger generations, with over two-thirds of 18–24-year-olds (72%) and 25–34-year-olds (69%) believing in its power to help achieve their dreams. In contrast, the belief diminishes among older age groups, with 42% of those aged 55-64 and only 25% of individuals 65 and over, reflecting a generational shift towards self-belief and visualisation techniques.
Steven Bartlett and Adobe Foster Entrepreneurial Growth
In an innovative collaboration, entrepreneur Steven Bartlett and Adobe Express have teamed up to launch the Manifest-o Method, aiming to revolutionise entrepreneurship. This new approach blends strategic insights with creative tools, designed to help solo entrepreneurs and small business owners effortlessly bring their business visions to life.
At the core of this method is Adobe Express, a user-friendly platform offering both free and premium features, enabling users to create professional-quality content without any design skills. The Manifest-o Method is already gaining traction, with Bartlett's latest project, Flight Studio – a podcast growth platform focused on building global media brands that contribute to a more fulfilling human experience.
Bartlett said, “Partnering with Adobe Express to create the Manifest-o Method isn’t just about visualising your dreams; it’s about transforming them into reality. Manifestation without action is like setting your car’s sat-nav without turning the engine on. Adobe Express provides the perfect toolkit for entrepreneurs to convert intentions into actions, helping them design business manifestos that not only articulate their vision but also drive it forward.
This collaboration embodies the principle I follow, that the law of attraction must be paired with the law of action, empowering solopreneurs to create, iterate, and actualise their goals with clarity and purpose. I’m incredibly proud to partner with Adobe, a company that shares my commitment to innovation and empowering entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.”
Manifestation in Business: A Growing Trend
The research also indicates a shift in the investment landscape, with 53% of investors now looking for a clear manifesto in business proposals. Additionally, 73% of investors believe that a manifesto has a greater impact on long-term success than a traditional business plan, highlighting the growing importance of vision and values in today’s business environment.
This sentiment is echoed by solopreneurs; 60% of them manifested becoming a business owner, with 61% stating that their business would benefit from having a manifesto that clearly outlines their intentions and goals.
Adobe Express is positioned at the forefront of this trend, offering a user-friendly platform for creating vision boards and now, business manifestos. With 40% of Brits believing that a digital tool could enhance their manifestation practices, Adobe Express provides the perfect solution for individuals and businesses alike to visualise and achieve their aspirations, no creative skills required.
Adobe Express: Bringing Visions to Life
Claire Darley, VP of Strategic Initiatives at Adobe said, “As more individuals and businesses turn to manifestation to drive their success, Adobe Express offers the tools to bring these visions to life. Whether creating a personal vision board, a comprehensive business manifesto or creating content-on-the go, it helps them to work faster, smarter, and more collaboratively so they can spend more time on the things they love while helping their business grow.”
To further inspire the entrepreneurial spirit, Adobe is launching an exciting competition from 17th September to 13th October, solopreneurs and small business owners are invited to create their own manifestos using Adobe Express and submit them via a dedicated microsite.
The competition offers participants a chance to win £10,000 to kickstart their business.
The winner will also receive an invitation to an exclusive event with Steven Bartlett, and the opportunity to join The Express Collective – a hand-picked team of Adobe Express ambassadors, offering a platform for continued growth and collaboration.
