Kyero launches affiliate programme with currency exchange firm Lumon
Kyero, the UK-based international property portal, today announced the launch of a major new component to its business model as it unveiled a new affiliate programme.
The programme will see Kyero work with selected third parties to bring complementary services to its multimillion-dollar international buyer audience, the largest on the market. Currency exchange firm Lumon is the first partner brand.
Gemma Coles, Kyero CEO, comments: “Our aim is to provide the international property buyer with as much support as we can to make moving to Europe as easy as possible. With large numbers of our users actively looking for additional insight and information, this is a natural next step to add to our existing offering. With targeted services, we can enhance the user experience and build upon Kyero’s position within the international property market.
“This is also an important step into the transactional space for Kyero. Our positioning and media reach allows partners to educate, engage and convert potential customers. We are excited about the potential that exists in the new programme.”
More than 90% of Kyero’s users are planning to buy international property in the next twelve months, and over 80% stated that they would like insight and advice from relevant third parties.
Vic Darvey, Lumon CEO, comments: “The partnership between Lumon and Kyero is a natural fit, with both companies sharing a common goal to empower international property buyers and provide them with a seamless journey from property search to purchase.
“By combining Lumon's expertise in currency exchange with Kyero's industry-leading property portal, we aim to create a one-stop solution that simplifies and streamlines the currency exchange process for international property buyers, making it more accessible and transparent worldwide."
Stephen Eakins, Key Partner Director, Lumon, comments: “As the market leader and a trusted brand in the international property space, Kyero has a large and engaged audience as well as established media channels, so it is an obvious choice.”
Kyero was established in 2003 and has since grown to become the largest international property portal in the UK, with over 750,000 properties for sale across Europe, and a turnover of £4 million. It has relationships with over 10,000 estate agents across Spain, Portugal, Italy and France, including Re/Max, Century 21, Engel & Völkers, Coldwell Banker, IAD and Taylor Wimpey.
A key founding principle of Kyero is to conduct business in a socially responsible way and offer its employees a better work-life balance. As well as achieving B-Corp status in 2022, it supports Spanish homelessness charity Hogar Si RAIS, and its global team is fully remote
