ISE 2024 breaks all records at anniversary show

The 2024 edition of Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) marked a historic milestone, becoming the most triumphant event in its 20-year history.

Hosted at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue, the event attracted a record-breaking 73,891 unique verified attendees from 162 countries, surpassing its Geneva inception in 2004 and showing a 27% increase from the 2023 edition.

A notable highlight was on Wednesday, 31 January, when the show witnessed an unprecedented single-day attendance of 51,617 visitors, shattering the previous record by nearly 22%.

Registrations soared to 95,396, with the event spanning four days and accumulating 172,627 visits. The Friday attendance set a new benchmark for the show at 24,528, the highest since transitioning to a four-day format.

The event also saw an unprecedented level of engagement in Barcelona, with hotels, bars, and entertainment venues experiencing record occupation, and exhibitors enjoying extraordinary booth traffic at the largest ISE show to date. This year's exhibition boasted 1,408 exhibitors and covered an unparalleled show floor space of 82,000 sqm net.

ISE 2024 showcased the forefront of innovation in the pro-AV and systems integration industry. Exhibitors from across the globe displayed the latest in display technologies, immersive audio systems, smart automation, and collaborative communication tools, reflecting the industry's dedication to innovation and enhanced user experiences.

The educational offerings at ISE 2024 were unparalleled, featuring conference sessions, workshops, and keynote presentations by multi-Academy Award-winning director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, and digital artists Jeroen van der Most and Sofia Crespo. These sessions provided deep dives into emerging trends, market dynamics, and technology innovations. Esteemed speakers covered a range of topics from artificial intelligence in AV to sustainable design and the future of remote work, offering attendees valuable insights and forward-looking knowledge.

The 20th anniversary of ISE was celebrated with special events, including the ISE Time Tunnel and Vintage Audio Museum, along with tributes to industry pioneers. These festivities not only evoked nostalgia but also highlighted the industry's growth and adaptability through decades of technological advancements.

ISE is set to return to Barcelona from 4-7th February 2025, promising another year of innovation, learning, and industry advancement.
