INNOVATION ZERO WORLD CONGRESS RETURNS TO LONDON FOR THIRD YEAR

On 29th to 30th April, the UK’s largest Net Zero congress, Innovation Zero World Congress 2025, will take place for its third consecutive year at Olympia London, with its largest and most ambitious programme yet.

The event will provide a unique opportunity for over 10,000 business leaders, start-ups, innovators, investors, funders and policymakers from across the public and private sectors globally to connect, collaborate, and share insights on overcoming obstacles to drive large-scale, impactful progress towards a low carbon economy.

The Congress will host a range of highly topical panels over two days, exploring new public and private financial models, the future of Artificial Intelligence in climate science and policy, innovating new public and private financial models, Britain’s role as a climate champion in global trade and diplomacy, and more.

With over 300 exhibitors, the event will showcase cutting-edge low-carbon solutions from both established industry leaders and emerging startups. Exhibitors include Octopus Energy, Innovate UK, e.on Next, Schneider Electric, Nano Nuclear, and Arup.

New initiatives for 2025 programme

With 250+ content sessions spread across 13 forums and theatres, including Energy, Finance & Built Environment, Transport, Supply Chain, Nature, Land & Sea, Innovation Zero World’s programme will bring delegates fully up to date with the latest developments in the transformation to a low carbon economy.

A major highlight for 2025 is the expansion of the Innovators Zone, a dedicated space showcasing over 100 groundbreaking start-ups offering scalable technologies and solutions poised to disrupt the industry. This edition will also see new forums for high-level networking, which have been designed specifically to foster collaborative and productive meetings between investors, funders, innovators, corporate buyers and startups. The Congress will offer unparalleled opportunities for dealmaking and strategic partnerships, including carefully curated 1:1 meetings, directly on the show floor.

Innovation Zero Awards

For the second year running, the 2025 congress will host the Innovation Zero Awards celebrating the best innovations in climate change mitigation, clean technology innovation and the implementation of low-carbon solutions. The Awards feature 6 categories including Energy & Power, Transport, Land & Water, Industry, MRV and Built Environment, and ensure innovators are recognised by their crucial audience of corporate buyers and investors at the evening event held on 29th April. New for 2025 is the Accelerate Impact Award, which will reward one innovator with a marketing prize worth £30,000.

New co-chairs for the 2025 World Congress

This year, Innovation Zero will be chaired by Dr Rhian-Mari Thomas OBE, Chief Executive of the Green Finance Institute and Chair of the National Wealth Fund Taskforce, and Crossbench Peer The Baroness Bryony Worthington, key architect of the UK’s world-leading Climate Change Act. Together, Rhian-Mari and Bryony exemplify Innovation Zero’s mission to provide a platform for innovation in its broadest sense.
