GetOrder secures $250,000 pre-seed to revolutionise restaurant-tech
Ukrainian startup GetOrder, a rising star in the restaurant-tech sector, has raised $250,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by the venture capital fund Digital Future, with additional backing from the United Angels Network. The funding will drive the company’s expansion into European markets and enhance its product offerings for the restaurant industry, aiming to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Transforming restaurant operations with technology
Founded in 2021 by Serhiy Chayka and software developer Maksym Loik, GetOrder has developed a platform that integrates food delivery services with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems. This innovative solution simplifies order management, reduces errors, and improves customer satisfaction.
The platform has already been adopted by over 1,400 establishments across 10 countries, including Ukraine, Poland, Cyprus, and Estonia. With its sights set on further growth, the company plans to onboard 2,500 new restaurant clients in Eastern Europe and Central Asia by the end of the year.
Strategic investment for growth
The pre-seed funding will be allocated to enhancing GetOrder’s core technology and scaling its operations in Europe. “Our mission is to empower restaurants with tools that make their operations seamless and scalable,” says founder Serhiy Chayka, who previously worked as a Marketing Director for major Ukrainian restaurant chains such as Mister Cat and Mamamia.
The $250,000 investment was led by Digital Future, a Ukrainian venture capital firm known for backing high-growth tech startups. They were joined by United Angels Network, a recently established group of angel investors supporting promising early-stage ventures.
A promising future in restaurant-tech
GetOrder is entering a competitive yet growing industry as restaurants increasingly adopt technology to meet consumer demands for efficiency and convenience. The company’s success in securing funding reflects investor confidence in its product and market potential.
The founders believe that GetOrder is well-positioned to become a leader in the restaurant-tech space. “This funding is just the beginning. Our vision is to create a global platform that transforms how restaurants operate, not only in Europe but worldwide,” Chayka adds.
With strong investor backing, a clear growth strategy, and an already impressive track record, GetOrder is set to make waves in the restaurant-tech sector, cementing Ukraine’s reputation as a hub for innovative technology startups.
