Free SEO advice benefits 50 SMEs impacted by pandemic

A search engine optimisation (SEO) consultant, who offered free website audits to UK SMEs struggling to make ends meet due to the pandemic, has recently successfully supported his 50th client.

Daniel Foley helped a range of businesses with their online search results by identifying areas of their website they could enhance, in order to improve their organic performance and feature more prominently in search engine rankings.

Clients included a clothing retailer which was initially running at a loss when the effects of the pandemic began to be felt. When they were forced to begin closing stores, they sought assistance from Daniel to better support their SEO and online visibility.

As a result of the free SEO advice they received, the retailer secured an 870% increase in traffic and a 260% increase in online revenue.

Daniel said: “With the effects of the pandemic being so wide-ranging and so damaging for many small businesses, I wanted to offer something I thought would help people trying to get back on their feet. It’s been rewarding to see so many businesses take my advice and I’m just pleased to have helped out wherever possible.

“With the challenges set to continue as we enter the new year, I’d encourage organisations of all shapes and sizes to review their online communications as frequently as possible. Having a strong SEO presence is unquestionably more important now than ever before, and we all need to continually adapt to survive and thrive.”

As well as supporting small business, Daniel has previously worked in the UK and overseas with the likes of SKY, Ladbrokes, Qantas, Virgin Holidays and BNP Paribas. He specialises in providing both local SEO, which increases online prominence in a specific geographic location and radius, as well as improving general website visibility on the major search engines.
