Fiverr’s 2025 Business Trends Index unveils how AI is reshaping future of work

Fiverr, the company that is changing how the world works together, has released the 11th edition of its Spring 2025 Business Trends Index.

Through an analysis of tens of millions of inquiries and searches from Fiverr's marketplace over the past six months, the Business Trends Index provides high-level insights into the top trending digital services that saw the largest increase in demand by businesses from all around the world.

This year’s Index reveals a significant shift in how businesses are embracing automation, AI, and freelance talent to futureproof their operations. In a market increasingly driven by the need for efficiency and measurable impact, UK companies are turning to AI-powered agents, workflow tools like Make.com, and on-demand expertise to streamline processes and enable smarter growth.

From rising demand for AI automation to a surge in services like logo design and architectural drawings, it’s clear that businesses are not just responding to change - they’re actively reimagining how work gets done. At the heart of this evolution are freelancers, who are empowering companies to move faster, communicate more authentically, and deliver meaningful results in an increasingly digital, AI-enabled economy.

Michele Troppeano, UK Country Manager at Fiverr said: “This data reflects broader shifts in both business and society – and right now, it’s clear UK companies are working smarter. They’re leaner, faster, and laser-focused on what truly drives impact.

“From tapping freelancers for branding and design to using AI tools to cut time drains, businesses are becoming more strategic with how they invest their time and budget. The surge in interest around AI agents, Make.com, and digital marketing support shows they’re not just adapting – they’re innovating. And at the centre of it all are freelancers, powering this evolution with speed and creativity.”
