Evolution of platform to accelerate embedded finance adoption

Toqio, a configurable embedded finance platform, recently underwent a transformation, evolving from a SaaS financial service development portal to a comprehensive embedded finance orchestration platform.

The company also welcomed Kunal Galav as its new VP of Product, with the aim of further developing and refining its tools. Galav's experience includes roles at Mambu, where he contributed to business growth in both large enterprises and fast-growing companies.

Upon his appointment at Toqio, Galav commented: "Toqio’s ambition to redefine financial services really spoke to me as I’ve always loved to build new solutions that help businesses scale. I’m excited to join the team during such a crucial phase for the company and am looking forward to everything we will build together.”

Over the last year, Toqio's platform has significantly developed, targeting large companies that want to incorporate embedded finance into their B2B ecosystems. This change comes at a time when the finance market is experiencing considerable changes, positioning Toqio's platform as a solution for corporate financial empowerment, market decentralisation, and financial inclusivity.

Toqio simplifies the creation and integration of financial services, offering a cost-effective alternative to in-house development. This approach allows companies to launch financial products swiftly, reducing expenses in development, maintenance, and staffing.

Eduardo Martinez Garcia, CEO and Co-Founder of Toqio, stated: “The financial service industry is constantly evolving, and we all need to keep up with current developments, so no one is left behind. As the world’s premier embedded finance platform, we’re constantly working on new and better tools to give our clients the ability to create, customise, and launch bank-grade digital solutions. In 2023 we changed our ideal customer profile (ICP), our focus, and our direction. We are re-emerging from our chrysalis.”

Toqio's recent advancements include:

  • Introduction of low code workflow editing, enabling drag-and-drop customisation
  • Dynamic menu management for greater platform output customisation
  • A beta version of the Toqio Marketplace, where third-party providers offer financial service modules
  • Extensive platform feature upgrades and interface enhancements, including redesigns, expanded UI customisation, and improved compliance and security measures

Finally, Toqio is launching a new podcast series, ‘Embedded in the Market’, to explore the impact of embedded finance on the industry.
