Do you have a startup idea or interested in building one?
The F Factor, organised by Founders of the Future, is the UK’s premier startup competition for 18-25 year olds. It goes all across the UK to find entrepreneurial talent. To enter the competition you need an idea, a seemingly working prototype (does not need to be a fully working MVP but rather a prototype that shows how your idea works) and a two min pitch in video of your startup idea.
The core values of the competition are diversity and inclusion as well as following the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Therefore, participants are encouraged to enter the competition with startup ideas that solve big problems and have good impact in society.
The competition is divided in 5 regions across the UK and has 4 rounds. The online qualifiers phase, the Semi-Finals, the Regional Finals and the National Finals. The winner of each Region will win £1,000 equity free cash and the National Winner will win £10,000 equity free cash as well as exposure and access to the Founders of the Future extended network!
The F Factor team helps participants with their application by providing resources on their website as well as hosting online workshops divided in 3 sections: generating ideas, creating easy no-code prototypes and creating the perfect pitch. The workshops will be hosted on the 2nd of December 2020 and 19th of January 2021.
Applications close 29th of January but participants are advised to fill in the eligibility form and submit their application early to ensure a spot in the Semi-Finals. The early deadline to ensure a spot in the semi-finals is 19th of December 2020.
