Curam forges partnership with Doctify to advance patient feedback in care market

Curam, a care worker marketplace and home-care technology platform in the UK, has entered into a strategic partnership with Doctify, a global platform renowned for patient reviews of health and social care services.

This collaboration is set to enhance trust and transparency within the UK care sector by offering patient-verified reviews to aid in the selection of carers.

This initiative comes in response to the pressing need for improved patient experiences, highlighted by the fact that only 14% of households are currently satisfied with care services. The partnership between Curam and Doctify aims to address this issue by providing patients and their families with greater choice, confidence, and quality in care services.

Doctify enables patients to access authentic, independent, and verified reviews of carers, offering insights into the quality of specialists, their services, and treatments. These reviews, which are anonymised, are based on the experiences of other patients and cover various aspects of care.

Through a direct link to Curam, patients can find carers who match their specific needs for at-home care, based on expertise and real-time availability. This approach not only places patients in full control over the selection of their carers but also promotes the formation of consistent and trusting relationships. Additionally, it benefits Curam’s network of self-employed carers by allowing them to earn approximately 50% more than they might with traditional care agencies.

Patrick Wallace, Director of Curam said: “The cornerstone of care is the patient. But the UK’s care sector currently doesn’t reflect that, with the demand for fast, high-quality care far outweighing the supply. We’re on a mission to transform care into a sector that’s truly patient-centric and offers more rewarding careers for carers too. With our partnership with Doctify, we are providing even more transparency and confidence to patients and their families that they are receiving quality, personalised care.”

“Patient experience expectations continue to rise in the care sector. The sector must prioritise trust and transparency by putting the patient at the centre. We work with 32,000 healthcare providers to achieve this and are delighted to join forces with Curam. Through our partnership, we ensure that carers have access to meaningful feedback, strengthening their understanding of patient needs and improving their experiences while patients can find carers they feel confident in,” said Subhash Mishra, VP Business Development at Doctify.
