Marking International Women’s Day each year, Kickass Women has become a hotly anticipated event in PLATF9RM’s calendar. This year will be v3.0 of the conference, and promises to be the most special yet. In a day-long programme of talks, workshops and special features, a diverse group of women will join forces to tell their incredible stories and show us how we can each become part of a very different future. As well as sharing their unique knowledge and insight, they’ll offer practical ways to become truly #BoldAndBorderless. 

Drawing on learnings from the last two years of separation, this will be a hybrid event. PLATF9RM will bring people together in real life and online, with the goal of finding the silver linings of what we’ve endured and breaking down barriers to connection and inclusion for women everywhere. 

PLATF9RM will wrap up the day with a #PLATF9RMconversation on what it means to be Bold Without Borders. A special panel of speakers will dig deep into how the social landscape is changing, and how women everywhere can tap into the opportunities opening up before them.

The dynamic workspace based in Brighton and Hove, PLATF9RM aims to connect the city’s business leaders and creative communities. Within the first few years of opening, it has attracted members ranging from multinational companies to solopreneurs and digital freelancers.

Being home to over 1000 members and 400 companies, PLATF9RM has firmly established itself as a hub for Brighton and Hove’s startup, business and creative scenes. Throughout the past four years, PLATF9RM has contributed to the growth of over 3,400 local, national and international organisations.
