Beyond School launches to bridge gap between education, AI, and future of work
In a world where AI is rewriting the rules of work, Beyond School is launching to meet the moment. A new platform designed to equip young people with the skills, confidence, and connections they need to thrive.
As Prime Minister Keir Starmer recently reaffirmed, the government’s priority is to ensure that “every young person has access to opportunity, training, and the chance to contribute to a growing economy.”
That is exactly where Beyond School steps in.
From the creators of the Beyondtheschoolrun platform comes Beyond School, a new platform within the WeAreBeyond ecosystem. Designed to bridge education and work, it connects young people with opportunities, inspiration, and meaningful connections.
Right now, nearly one in eight young people in the UK are not in education, employment, or training – the highest figure in over a decade. At the same time, employers are facing acute skills shortages, particularly in digital and AI-related fields.
Beyond School bridges this divide by providing a single platform where young people can explore opportunities, build future-ready skills, and connect with employers to unlock their potential.
Beyond School is a one-stop shop offering:
- Jobs & Internships – connections to internships, apprenticeships, and early career opportunities
- Entrepreneurship – access to mentorship, funding, and resources to launch new ideas
- Reskilling & Learning – practical training in AI, digital skills, and financial literacy
- Growth & Wellbeing – tools to build confidence, resilience, and self-leadership
- Community – a space to connect, share, and be inspired by others
Louise Webster, Founder of WeAreBeyond & Beyond School, said: “We’ve built Beyond School to bridge the gap between education and the rapidly changing world of work – to create a space where young people can discover their spark, develop future-ready skills, and connect with the opportunities that will shape their lives.
“AI is transforming every industry, but it’s human potential that will drive progress. We’re bringing together corporates, government, and youth in one place – because only through collaboration can we unlock the full potential of this generation.”
As Rachel Reeves, Chancellor of the Exchequer said: “Our economy thrives when we utilise everyone’s talents – when we draw on the full potential of every individual.”
