Apart but still together

We Are F, the social media and creative boutique for female-founded brands, has connected a team of NHS GPs with the PPE they urgently require - following a campaign to raise funds for the NHS.

The campaign Apart, Together’, saw the boutique agency launch a line of three beautifully designed, organic cotton t-shirts, complete with empowering messages of solidarity, via Print Social. The campaign is helping raise funds and awareness for ITU wards and the Red Cross during the coronavirus pandemic.

We Are F, co-ordinated the spread of the message by utilising their wide array of influencer contacts and data-driven media insight. This enabled a team of under-equipped GP’s to connect with PPE providers from across the country.

Federica Pecis, co-founder, We Are F, said: “This fantastic result is beyond our wildest hopes, it’s just another example of what we can all achieve when we pull together for the greater good. The real heroes of this global health crisis are those key workers on the frontline but anything we can do to assist them is something that helps everybody.”

Following the campaign launch and spread, a GP immediately saw a post from Laura Boyle, founder, Square Circle, agency, and Josephine Liang, founder, Dare to Care, PPE Provider. Within two hours of contacting Dare to Care, the GPs received a reply confirming a PPE courier to Yorkshire.

Laure Boyle, said: “Thanks to We Are F’s ‘Apart, Together’ campaign, I was able to connect a team of GPs in the north of England with PPE. This team had received no PPE, in line with many teams around the country who are experiencing critical shortages. This team, in particular, were borrowing masks from their local primary school and builders merchant.

"Staying home is essential but it doesn't feel enough; we want ways to support our community, to respond in some way, and We Are F did that - they found a way to keep connecting and inspiring people. I believe business should be a powerful force for all its stakeholders, and that this pandemic shows us how essential that adjustment is."

Federica Attanasio, co-founder, We Are F, concluded: “As an Italian and the family member of a recently un-retired NHS health worker, I felt that we had to use our influence and resources to effect a positive change, in addition to following government and health service guidelines.”

Apart, Together

Help us amplify this campaign, spread these messages of solidarity, and help our NHS during this challenging time.

Get the t-shirt, wear it, and tag @weareeffedigital #ApartTogether to spread the message.

We are volunteering our time and capital to run this initiative and will be working for a profit share of 50%. We will be splitting all profits with the NHS and the Red Cross.

Please keep in mind that we are a small business, which has also been affected by the pandemic, as many other businesses have. We wish we could donate more, but while helping people in need we are also trying to keep our business alive.

Our hearts and thoughts go to our home country of Italy.

Together there is nothing we cannot achieve.
