The Adaptavist Group scouts future AI leaders with ‘Adapting for Tomorrow' startup programme
The Adaptavist Group, a global technology company with its North American headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, has announced the launch of its 'Adapting for Tomorrow’ incubator programme.
This initiative is now accepting applications from digital startups focused on generative AI. The programme is designed to support early-stage companies with the resources, mentorship, and guidance needed to scale and tackle significant challenges in the AI sector.

Who They’re Looking For: They’re looking for startups developing cutting-edge solutions in generative AI, specifically targeting collaboration and productivity enhancements in enterprise settings.
What ‘Adapting for Tomorrow’ Offers: Startups with a product and a drive to scale are invited to submit applications aligned with the generative AI theme. The most compelling submissions will be invited to pitch to an expert panel for selection.
Selected startups (up to two per programme) will embark on a rigorous six-month journey with workshops on business planning, technology, HR, legal and marketing advice, and practical insight sessions including pitching best practice. They will have access to mentorship from Canada’s leading business advisors and professionals within Adaptavist and its network. Additional benefits include access to global office networks, access to regular office space in downtown Toronto, and integration into the extensive Adaptavist ecosystem.
The confirmed advisors are:
- Maria Harrington, a business development and marketing leader driving innovation for top tech companies
- Patrick Tammer, Senior Investment Director at Scale AI overseeing a $100M+ portfolio of transformative AI projects; and serial entrepreneur
- James Appleyard, who has invested in and guided over 20 Canadian startups developing "Technology for Human Progress."
