5 ways to attract and retain premium clients
Let’s be honest – most service-based business owners didn’t start their business to spend all day selling. And yet, for many women I work with, sales has become a full-time job on top of the actual work they do.
They’re tired of the hustle – yet they know their talent is needed. And they’re stuck in the loop of landing one client … only to immediately wonder where the next one is coming from.
Here’s the good news: you don’t always need more clients.
You need a better system, smarter strategy, and a brand that makes you unforgettable.
If you're aiming for consistent £5k-£15k months in 2025 (with actual profit, not just busy work), these five pointers are your starting point.
1. Build an offer suite that unlocks hidden revenue
If every client only ever buys from you once, your sales process will always feel like hard work.
Instead, create a clear offer suite: a low-resistance gateway offer that naturally leads to deeper, more impactful work. It should be easy to say yes to, and even easier to upgrade from. You might start with a half-day intensive before offering your six-month package, for instance.
I recently challenged a client to ask herself:
“How could I make an extra £10k this quarter without signing a single new client?”
She paused … and then spotted an opportunity immediately. She added a new layer of support to an existing offer, reached out to past clients, and the revenue came in.
I'd love you to try the same. If £10k feels too far off, start with £1k.
What could you offer right now to your existing or past clients that would generate new revenue – without reinventing the wheel?
You never know what money you’ve left on the table until you take another look.

2. Here’s one way to make money without a single new lead: retention
Like I said, if you want to make consistent sales without the constant hustle, retention needs to become your new favourite strategy.
Your existing clients already trust you, know your style, and value your work. That makes them 10x more likely to buy again – if you give them something worth staying for.
The question is: do you have a next step for them?
A continuation? An upgrade? A way to go deeper?
Premium clients are happy to stay – delighted, even – when they’re getting results and your service evolves with them.
Most businesses simply don’t design for it. They close the sale, deliver the thing, and then … it’s goodbye.
If you had a way to retain just 50% of your clients for another three months, what would that do for your revenue?
(And how much energy would it save you from chasing cold leads?)
3. Create Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
If you want to reduce sales stress and gain more breathing room, monthly recurring revenue is a game-changer.
Whether it’s a group programme, a retainer service, or a subscription-style offer, creating predictable income gives you a financial foundation – and some much-needed peace of mind.
The best part? Recurring revenue lets you scale your impact and your income, without constantly restarting your sales engine. You can build on what’s working, serve your people better, and avoid burnout.
I recently helped a photographer create a recurring revenue model for her brand shoots – it’s all possible once you know how.
What could you do to create MRR in your business? Get creative and think outside the box!
4. Your personal brand is the shortcut to premium sales
In today’s market, being ‘good at what you do’ isn’t enough. You need to be known for something – and that something is the results you create and deliver.
Your personal brand builds trust before a single sales conversation happens. And trust is the number one driver of premium client sales.
You don’t need to be everywhere – but you must be memorable. (Being forgettable is the worst, right?)
Show your face. Share your values. Say what you really want to say, and build a personal brand around your business.
The more you own your space, the more people lean in.
Your brand conviction is a client magnet.
Own it – and become it.

5. Visibility isn’t optional – it’s a business essential
Let’s be honest: clients can’t buy from you if they don’t know you exist.
They need to see you and feel the energy of your brand before they buy into your service.
Sadly, I see brilliant business owners hiding in plain sight – posting inconsistently, waiting to feel ‘ready’, or second-guessing their message.
But consistency beats perfection. Every time.
Even if your audience isn’t visibly engaging, they’re watching. And premium clients are looking for clarity. If your message is confused or half-hidden, they’ll scroll right past.
Show up for the quiet lurkers!
You don’t need a polished studio setup or daily content marathons.
You just need to be clear, present, and intentional.
Show up and lead your audience – and your audience will be delighted to follow.
Final thought
Scaling your sales doesn’t always mean scaling your workload.
Sometimes, the fastest path to more revenue is simply serving better, not bigger.
Take another look at what’s already working. Refine it.
I’m a big fan of enhancing the client experience so they don’t just stay for the results I help them create – but because they love the experience and how our work together makes them feel.
And don’t be surprised when your next sale comes from someone who’s already bought from you.
Create a brand – and offers – that make people want to stay.
