Benedikt llg was born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany. From a young age he expressed an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to succeed. As a business management student, he accepted a trainee position with luxury car firm Porsche, where he was able to apply practical and theoretical knowledge to entrepreneurial challenges. It was during his time at Porsche that he began to notice the distinct gap between frontline workers and desk employees. He swiftly realised that it was exceptionally difficult to fully incorporate frontline workers into the larger company processes, and they were not being informed at a level equal to their in-office colleagues. Benedikt took stock of the situation and realised the issue of disconnected customer facing employees was not being prioritised, and decided that he would need to conceptualise a solution. Together with his friend and co-founder Giacomo Kenner, he began designing and developing the employee experience platform. After six months, they brought Flip to market, securing Porsche as the company’s first client. Outside of Flip, Benedikt is heavily invested in the Stuttgart startup ecosystem, acting as a mentor within several support platforms for young startups in the Baden-Württemberg region. He is extremely passionate about entrepreneurship within his home city and is actively involved in the promotion of innovation. Having founded Flip at the young age of 26, he has shown time and again his ability to command a room and make strong inroads with key industry players.
