Seven Years Connecting Emerging Markets IT Talent With Global Investors
The EMERGE International Tech Conference is returning to Yerevan with the mission of showcasing innovators from emerging markets to the world and connecting experienced VCs with fresh IT talent. This year, the conference is shifting from its traditional format for the first time, placing networking and relationship building at the center of the agenda. EMERGE Conference will be held on September 25-26 at o2 Gardens, Armenia’s first-of-its-kind oxygen-rich environment.
The event is expected to gather over 2,000 IT professionals, investors, startup unicorns such as Uzum, and tech enthusiasts from Central and Eastern Europe, Western Europe, the Balkans, Central Asia, the USA, and the MENAT region. Daron Yanden from Microsoft, Alex Kudos from Social Discovery Group, Lara Varjabedian, co-founder of UBQT, along with other notable speakers, will take the stage for solo talks, live interviews, panel discussions, and workshops.
Additionally, the venue will host the EMERGE CHALLENGE Finals, the traditional annual startup competition, through which founders have raised over €30 million over the past six years. Investors from HEARTFELT, Tensor Ventures, Sukna Ventures, have already confirmed their participation this year.
“As a deeptech investor, I'm drawn to EMERGE for its unique focus on cutting-edge technologies and early-stage startups in the Eastern European region,” notes Daniel Hastik, investor and partner at Tensor Ventures. “EMERGE's carefully curated startup showcase and networking opportunities offer a valuable edge in discovering high-potential investment opportunities before they hit the global radar”
In response to the intense global agenda, this year EMERGE is placing special emphasis on building strong and meaningful connections within the international startup community. The venue will hold over 10 themed networking events, connecting people with similar professional goals and personal interests.
Fonz Morris, Lead Product Designer at Netflix and previous speaker at Emerge, remembers the conference as full of enthusiastic attendees and driven founders. “I connected with a diverse group of professionals who are truly passionate about pushing the boundaries of the industry, and I delivered one of my best talks yet,” adds Morris.
Tickets are available on the official website.
EMERGE Conference is supported by notable friends and partners, such as Social Discovery Group, Plug and Play, EBAN, FLAT6LABS, Impact Hub, KARAS wines, Nikofirm, Startups Magazine, AROUND PR Studio, etc.
