Roboteam announced a new AI-powered acceleration program for startups
Roboteam is launching the second batch of its acceleration program for tech startups in September 2024. This program is free and designed for sole non-developers and even developers themselves who want to establish their own business but lack funding and co-founders. The first batch took place last year and helped founders from 5 different countries to launch their ideas.
The participants are guided through the process of coming up with a business idea, creating a prototype without understanding how to code, and putting it together in a way that will appeal to incubators and/or potential team members. Speakers of the program have extensive experience in business development and AI.
What is included?
- Experiments to research business ideas and create an MVP;
- Co-learning and co-creation;
- Step-by-step examples on how to use AI for non-developers;
- Great networking opportunities;
- Possibility of taking the first steps in launching a startup.
In the first week of the program participants will learn about AI and how it can become their junior co-founder.
In the second week, founders will gain an understanding of the basics of lean startup and business modelling, customer development, and hypothesis testing.
The third week involves getting a prototype, from using website constructors to code written by machines. In the last week, participants will learn the fundamentals of the economy and finance for startups and use AI to make a pitch deck.
As Timofey Golovin, founder of MyRoboteam is saying: “That program is based on my 8-years experience in accelerating pre-seed stage startups and working with student founders. And always one of the main problems I heard was: oh, I don’t have the right people and I can’t start, or proceed further. Well now, you can proceed with help of AI. I may be not the best possible co-founder but at least you can make it a step further and we have tools to help you with that.”
Who can participate?
The program is available to participants from any location. Coding skills and education in IT development are not required.
Program dates and application process
The program starts on the 9th of September and ends on the 4th of October. Participants are offered a demo day on the 10th of October.
The selection campaign for the candidates starts on the 10th of July and lasts until the 2nd of September. To apply it is necessary to fill in the form on the website, https://myroboteam.com/.
Participants will be selected based on their background and motivational letter.
