Valery Krasovsky, CEO & Co-Founder of Sigma Software Group, General Partner at Sigma Software Labs, General Partner at SID Venture Partners

Valery has over 20 years of experience in IT. Started his career as a Junior C++ developer, then as a Programming Team Leader, and then Project Manager. Co-founder of Sigma Software in 2002 and has headed the company since its inception, first as a Chief Operating Officer, and then as Chief Executive Officer. Under Valery`s leadership, the company has grown from a small business with few clients in Europe to a premier software provider with 2000+ employees, offering superior quality IT services for such companies as Volvo, AT&T, SAS, Fortum, Formpipe, Scania, and other world-known brands.

Valery has been involved in the cooperation with state bodies within the frameworks of the IT Ukraine association and the European Business Association and its Information Technology Committee. In 2011 he headed the Working Group under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine aimed at Ukrainian IT education renovation and building the bridge between business and educational establishments. He continuously contributed to IT education development in Ukraine through working with the government, cooperation with educational establishments, and launching a corporate educational platform, Sigma Software University, aimed at Ukrainian IT community development, knowledge and experience sharing for IT professionals of all levels – from beginners to experts.

In 2021 Valery, together with colleagues from Sigma Software, Ideasoft and Datrics, created SID Venture Partners – the first unique Ukrainian high-tech venture capital firm, focusing on investments into Ukrainian early-stage startups.
