Little Journey, the healthtech company transforming the delivery of paediatric care through personalised psychological support, has announced £6 million in Series A funding. The round, which will be used to accelerate Little Journey’s mission to revolutionise paediatric healthcare globally, was led by Edinburgh and Leeds-based venture capital firm Par Equity.
AI hardware startup GEMESYS has successfully raised €8.6 million in a pre-seed funding round led by the Amadeus APEX Technology Fund together with Atlantic Labs. Participation from NRW.BANK, Sony Innovation Fund, and Silicon Valley-based Plug and Play Tech Centre, as well as grant funding from the German government, complemented the round.

Airbound, a drone technology startup, has announced a $1.7 million seed round led by Lightspeed to build the world’s most efficient delivery drone. With its proprietary blended wing body tailsitter design, called TRT, Airbound aims to transform logistics, reducing delivery costs by two orders of magnitude compared to traditional options.
Tenity, the global fintech innovation ecosystem and early-stage VC, releases its third Climate Fintech Report. Drawing on data from 750 startups worldwide, the report highlights the subsector’s resilience to economic challenges and its leading position in gender equality in venture funding, with female-founded or led companies achieving funding parity at pre-Series B rounds.
Future Planet Capital is working with NatWest Cushon, with a view to the Cushon Master Trust potentially making an investment in the British Co-Investment Fund (BCF). Any future investment will be subject to commercial terms, due diligence, and Trustee approval. Workflow, a company building AI software for design, marketing, and product teams has announced it has raised $3 million in pre-seed funding in a round led by early Revolut-investors, Venrex. Investors in the oversubscribed round included 8VC, backers of Asana, and scout funds from Sequoia, Octopus, and Index Ventures. The round saw investors back exited founders Will Taylor (Rota.com), Allis Yao (ex-Instagram, Spirito AI), and Paul Sangle, (Mailwiz.app, ex-Yelp product lead).
MintNeuro, a startup working on scalable, low-power semiconductor technology for minimally-invasive neural implant applications, has announced it has raised £1 million in a funding round led by Empirical Ventures. Additional investment came from Parkwalk Advisors (through the Imperial College Enterprise Fund), Imperial College London, Plug & Play, Excellis Holding, and several prominent angel investors.
tozero, a European startup in the sustainable lithium-ion battery recycling space, has raised €11 million in an oversubscribed seed round led by NordicNinja. New investors joining this funding round include In-Q-Tel (IQT), automotive giant Honda, and global infrastructure engineering giant JGC Group. Existing investors including Atlantic Labs, Verve Ventures and Possible Ventures, also doubled down.
Paloma Health, the AI-enabled healthtech startup reducing wait times for access to critical NHS health services, has raised £2 million in a pre-seed round. The round was led by Triple Point Ventures, with co-investors Heal Capital and expert angels, including Pam Garside, Co-Chair Cambridge Health Network, and James Allgrove, ex-Stripe. The funding will support the roll-out of Paloma Health’s first NHS service providing access to children and young people’s autism assessments in under four weeks.
