ZERO launches second crowdfunding campaign
ZERO, the B Corp Certified sustainable money app, has launched its second crowdfunding campaign via the Crowdcube platform following a landmark first six months of operations.
Since its public launch in February 2025, Zero has registered more than 12,000 users, processed £1.1 million worth of payments, and completed more than 415,000 GreenScore transactions – helping customers understand and reduce the environmental impact of their spending.
The Cardiff-based fintech also became B Corp certified in its first 6 months, joined the Tech Zero coalition with published net zero targets, and achieved operational carbon removal of 110% of its 2024 emissions.
Richard Theo, Co-Founder and CEO of Zero, said: "Our vision is a world where money is a force for the good of the planet, and never invested in activities that harm the planet.
“We’ve proved there’s strong demand for a green alternative in personal finance, and this next funding round will help us expand our reach and impact in the year ahead."
Zero’s new funding round is now open to investors on Crowd cube. The raise follows the company’s seed round in 2023, which was backed by notable investors including the Development Bank of Wales.
As consumer demand for ESG-aligned financial solutions surges, fuelled by a global sustainable finance market now valued in the trillions, Zero is at the forefront of this green fintech wave.
With the UK’s net-zero economy expanding three times faster than the broader market and climate-conscious fintech products gaining traction, Zero’s second Crowdcube round is not just a fundraising effort – it’s a pivotal moment in scaling the UK’s next-generation green banking revolution.
