UK engineering team launch new website focused on product design
Nottingham based electronics design consultancy, Ignys has launched a new website this month, hosting an electronics blog full of design advice and a carousel of 16 product development services.
Ignys also became two time finalists this month in the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards 2020, after being shortlisted for the Nottingham categories under: Outstanding Growth Award and the Entrepreneur of the year.
Established in 2017, Ignys have been described as a 'secret weapon' for reducing costs during the product development process. They are built on a team of clever engineers backed by a driven management team. Their services primarily cater to two audiences. Innovative startups looking for electronics expertise and SME’s and R&D teams looking to borrow a little extra capacity for their development projects.
Richard Fletcher, MD explained: “As part of our growth plan we’ve created a new way to connect with customers and anyone searching to create a reliable tech product. We’ve designed this mobile optimised platform specifically to provide designers and inventors with the resources to reach their goals quickly.”
Ignys recently moved into new premises on Nottingham Science Park with two labs for customer projects. Their new services include temperature extreme testing options using environmental chambers and test jigs aimed at low volume manufacture.
These newly designed test fixtures hope to plug a gap for smaller companies and startups who are currently faced with costly testing options on a long lead time. Ignys hope to provide these businesses with a quicker and more effective product testing option.
