Tech giants announce participation at revamped London Tech Week 2024
IBM and Microsoft have been first to confirm their participation as partners in a revamped London Tech Week 2024, which will see the event double in size and attendance versus the 2023 edition.
C-suite leadership from IBM and Microsoft will join the keynote speaker line up and share their vision of the future of tech, as part of an agenda where the power of AI to transform productivity takes centre stage. The event will address head-on the challenge of balancing AI innovation with regulation, building on the outcomes from London Tech Week 2023, where UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak used his keynote speech to highlight opportunities for the UK to be a global leader in the rapidly evolving technology.
Other leading voices in AI who are due to take the stage include Google DeepMind COO Lila Ibrahim, Synthesia Co-Founder Steffen Tjerrild, Writer Co-Founder and CEO May Habib and DeepL Co-Founder and CEO Jaroslaw Kutylowski. All will be offering their thoughts on how AI can be applied in the short and medium term future, from boosting efficiency to improving medical diagnoses to supporting the energy transition.
Attendees can also expect visionary insights from cross-industry leaders, deep-dives into the start-up ecosystem and powerful conversations on social impact from.leading figures from the world of business including L’Oreal, Reckitt, Depop, GSK and Tesla. This year’s diverse lineup of speakers from the forefront of tech transformation, business and politics highlights London Tech Week’s integral role as a platform setting the agenda for the tech ecosystem, between key tech players, international governments and businesses around the world.
This year hosted in a new venue, Olympia, London Tech Week returns on a bigger scale than ever before as it evolves to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding international technology ecosystem.
The new venue provides the perfect setting for the event to innovate and grow, becoming one of Europe’s largest tech events, expecting to welcome 25,000 attendees over 3 days from 10th-12th June.
New features for 2024 include a Pitch Stage which will showcase the next generation of entrepreneurs, inspire talent and shape our leaders of the future.
There will also be dedicated Investor Hours at the Startup Stage, bringing together VCs, investment banks, angels, LPs and accelerators to share their experience.
Finally, London Tech Week 2024 will introduce Learning Labs, where visitors will hear from leading investors and visionary serial entrepreneurs, covering essentials from how to raise your first round to successfully scaling at pace.
