Solivus paired with Modulaire Group as part of Better Futures Net Zero Innovation Challenge
Lightweight solar company Solivus has announced it has been paired with modular services and infrastructure giant Modulaire Group as part of the Mayor of London’s Better Futures Net Zero Innovation Challenge.
Now in its fourth run, the Innovation Challenge is designed to provide an opportunity for SMEs and established businesses to create partnerships that explore the application of cutting-edge solutions. Since its inception, the competition has continued to nurture long-term collaborations, helping SMEs bring their solutions to a global customer base.
This year, with a dedicated Net Zero focus, the challenge saw some of the world’s most innovative businesses apply to present a range of pioneering solutions and services that address critical issues like energy efficiency, sustainable construction, and low-carbon supply chains. From an initial pool of 2,000 applicants, just 18 of the most promising climate tech innovators were selected to go forward to pitch their solutions to a range of established businesses at an in-person pitch day in London.
Following a successful pitch process, Solivus has been chosen among ten collaborations set to move forward. It has been partnered with the leading specialist in modular services and infrastructure, Modulaire Group. As the next part of the process, the Solivus team will be busy getting under the skin of Modulaire Group and ascertaining opportunities to pilot their lightweight solar innovation within the business.
Jo Parker-Swift, CEO and Founder of Solivus, comments: “This competition is one of the most keenly anticipated highlights of the year for the SME community and continues to attract an incredible pedigree of talent. I am therefore extremely proud that we have been selected as one of the final ten partnerships to move forward. Fresh new thinking is key to tackling issues facing the built environment and we look forward to building a long-term relationship with Modulaire Group and playing a role in accelerating its net zero transition.”
