SKL.vс launches B2C Launch Camp for aspiring startup founders

SKL.vc is set to debut its B2C Launch Camp, a programme designed to give aspiring entrepreneurs a risk-free environment to explore their business ideas without dipping into personal savings.

Starting on 15th November 2024, this initiative offers founders-to-be the tools, mentorship, and financial support needed to transform early-stage concepts into viable businesses.

The hurdles of launching a startup – both financial and emotional – are well understood by SKL.vc, especially for those managing careers, families, and other responsibilities. Recognising these challenges, SKL.vc created Launch Camp to remove these barriers. Whether participants are refining a prototype or just starting with a fresh idea, the programme prioritises their vision and the problems they aim to solve.

Launch Camp shoulders the financial risks, allowing participants to concentrate fully on developing their ideas. There's no need to secure external funding or commit full-time, offering a flexible pathway to entrepreneurship with expert guidance throughout the journey.

Launch Camp is not only providing a space to develop the startup idea – it’s giving an access to the entire SKL.vc ecosystem:

  • Expert mentorship: Ideas will be evaluated by top-tier experts from the SKL.vc team, providing participants with valuable feedback and insights
  • Funding & resources: Top ideas will gain access to up to $1.5 million in venture capital funding and even those whose ideas don’t make it to the MVP stage will receive $4,000 to test their hypotheses
  • Job offers: Top participants get job offers with salaries up to $200,000 per year, stock options and access to SKL.vc’s resources
  • No personal financial risk: SKL.vc takes the financial burden, providing all the funding needed to get the project off the ground

Projects from these key niches and domains are welcome to apply: Creative Economy, Entertainment, Video/Movies/Music, Digital Avatars, Health/Med Tech, Hobbies/Lifestyle, FinTech, Co-pilots, Computer Vision, and Agents.

The program will run online in English from November 15 to December 18, 2024, concluding with a Pitch Day, where selected participants will have the opportunity to secure further investment. A decision on continued collaboration will be made by the end of the year.

At the most recent Launch Camp in July-August 2024, SKL.vc welcomed 458 participants from 279 teams. Fourteen teams made it to the final pitch day and six teams secured funding and offers from SKL.vc.
