Singapore-based startup Omnishelf wins the second edition of South Summit Korea

OmniShelf, a startup from Singapore, has been named Global Winner of the Startup Competition at South Summit Korea 2025, co-organised by IE University, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, GBSA (Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator), and Unimotto.

Omnishelf has developed a shelf-execution application that helps retailers optimise shelf availability, planogram compliance, and operational efficiency. The app enables stores to compare their current shelf setup with the intended layout and also allows retail headquarters to monitor store performance in real time.

During the final day of #SouthSummitKorea25, held at the Suwon Convention Centre, additional awards were presented to startups in the categories of Most Disruptive, Most Scalable, and Best Team in the fields of AI and Deep Tech. Notably, Kreios Space a startup from Galicia (Spain), was recognised as the Most Disruptive Startup for developing the first fuel-free electric propulsion system for satellites, which uses atmospheric gases as propellant  a breakthrough innovation in the aerospace industry.

Meanwhile, French startup Ochy, specialising in AI-powered biomechanical running analysis, received the Best Team award. UK-based cheqd, which offers blockchain-based verifiable credentials to build trust in AI and data, was honoured as the Most Scalable Startup.

Over the course of two intense days, Suwon became a global hub for entrepreneurship and innovation in AI and Deep Tech. The event brought together ecosystem leaders, investors, and major companies alongside Asian startups, sharing the latest trends and developments across these sectors.

Among the keynote speakers at the final day of South Summit Korea 2025 were prominent figures such as Kei Shimada, CEO of Sirius Technologies; Anna Shimafuji, CEO of NeuralPort; JaeHee Chang, Partner at Antler Korea; Michael Blakey, Managing Partner at Cocoon Capital; and Álvaro Cabrera, CEO of DTB.
