Legacy Compass secures £60K from Bethnal Green Ventures’ Tech for Good Programme

Legacy Compass, a legacy-tech startup, has secured £60,000 in funding from Bethnal Green Ventures’ Tech for Good Programme.

Founded by Natalia Pazzaglia, Legacy Compass is on a mission to transform how companies and individuals prepare for end-of-life planning, blending storytelling, human-centered design, and AI-powered emotional intelligence to simplify and de-stigmatise these essential conversations.

With one in five people projected to be diagnosed with serious illnesses like cancer or dementia by 2040, and bereaved families in the UK facing an average 15-month administrative burden after a loss, Legacy Compass provides a much-needed holistic, digital-first solution. This investment signals growing confidence in the platform’s ability to make end-of-life planning more accessible, intuitive, and emotionally intelligent.

Empowering Families Through Technology Legacy Compass provides companies and individuals with a structured yet deeply personal approach to legacy planning. Through its intuitive platform, users can create and store audio memories, digital messages, and practical end-of-life preferences, ensuring that both emotional and administrative needs are addressed in one seamless experience. The platform’s profiling and user journeys are based on sentiment analysis and offers guidance and support, helping users navigate the complexities of loss and estate planning with confidence.

Natalia Pazzaglia, Founder & CEO of Legacy Compass, said: “This funding is a transformative moment for Legacy Compass. End-of-life planning is often met with avoidance, but it should be an opportunity to reflect, connect, and prepare with clarity. With Bethnal Green Ventures’ support, we are one step closer to making this process accessible, empowering, and human-centred for individuals and families worldwide.”

Paul Miller, CEO and Managing Partner at Bethnal Green Ventures added: “Legacy Compass embodies the principles of our Tech for Good programme – leveraging technology to solve real-world challenges while ensuring scalability and impact. The innovative, human-centred approach of Legacy Compass addresses a pressing societal need, and Natalia has built a visionary product that has the potential to redefine the legacy and end-of-life sector. We are excited to support the team in its next phase of growth.”

Scaling impact and expanding reach with this new investment, Legacy Compass plans to further develop its AI capabilities, expand its user experience to incorporate trauma-informed design, and grow its partnerships with corporations and charities. The team is also focused on broadening its B2B offerings, integrating its platform into employee well-being programs and continuing to refine its services through ongoing clinical and behavioural research.

By challenging societal taboos around death and legacy, Legacy Compass is building a future where loss is not a burden, but a tool for connection, resilience, and thoughtful preparation.
