Integrated Graphene Expands Global Reach with New COO Appointment

Integrated Graphene has announced the appointment of Andrew Lacey to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer.

In this position, Andrew will spearhead the development of Integrated Graphene’s global manufacturing capabilities, facilitating the international commercial sales of Gii across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

Gii, a distinct carbon-based 3D structure, is crafted by Integrated Graphene through a patented manufacturing process. This innovative nanomaterial enhances sensitivity and sustainability, revolutionising the functionality of commercial products. Integrated Graphene's clientele includes providers of point-of-care medical diagnostic tests, which, with the aid of Gii, can swiftly detect a variety of health conditions – from cardiovascular to neurological disorders –anywhere in the world.

Andrew brings a wealth of experience to his new role, with decades spent in operational leadership, manufacturing operations, and commercialisation. A chartered engineer, Andrew has designed and implemented complex manufacturing strategies for products ranging from textiles to automotive components. His prior roles include shaping a new multi-facility manufacturing base for Volvo Car Corporation and serving as General Manager of a $250 million division at Autoliv, one of the world’s largest safety suppliers, during his tenure in China. Since returning to the UK in 2017, after periods in Turkey, Sweden, and the UK, Andrew has been consulting for PwC, focusing on operational improvements and capital projects across various industries.
