infinitSpace launches first German flexible workspace location in Berlin
infinitSpace, a technology-driven provider of flexible workspaces, has forged a management partnership with prominent Central European investor Peter Korbačka to introduce its inaugural German flexible workspace in the new Quartier Heidestrasse development in Berlin.
Situated in the modern and dynamic Europacity project area, Quartier Heidestrasse is a fresh mixed-use complex known for its superb connectivity, including direct access to Berlin's main train station. The initiative is the brainchild of workspace expert Wybo Wijnbergen (CEO) and his brother, seasoned tech entrepreneur Wilco Wijnbergen (CTO), who co-founded infinitSpace. The Berlin location will debut under the 'beyond' brand as 'beyond Quartier Heidestrasse' in November 2024.
Occupying nearly 4,500 square metres and offering 700 workstations, the flexible workspace will be located in the 'Straight' building within Quartier Heidestrasse, which combines residential and office spaces over six floors and features additional amenities like a rooftop bar and a cafe. infinitSpace is set to manage the portion of the building facing the street.
Designed and fitted with the latest technology by infinitSpace, the new workspace will feature a branded app to foster connections among flexible workspace members, businesses, and residents within the development and throughout infinitSpace’s international network. Furthermore, infinitSpace will handle the marketing, membership management, and day-to-day operations of the facility.
Since its expansion began in March 2022, beyond Quartier Heidestrasse will be infinitSpace’s sixth 'beyond' location in Europe and its first foray into Germany, offering access to more than 4,500 workstations across Europe as the company continues to expand its presence on the continent.
Wybo Wijnbergen, CEO and Co-founder of infinitSpace said: “Quartier Heidestrasse in Europacity is everything an urban centre should be – innovative, attractive and built for facilitating human connection. So, a beyond location is the perfect fit for the development.
“Moving into another of Europe’s most dynamic and successful business hubs is a hugely exciting step for infinitSpace and the beyond brand as we establish ourselves in the German flexspace market. We’re thrilled to be working with renowned investor Peter Korbačka on bringing this trailblazing project to life.”
Daniel Kollar, Director at QH Development 6 GmbH & Co. KG, commented: “When searching for a partner on this exciting project, we sought out an organisation with passion, dedication and a depth of experience in the flexible workspace sector. With a growing portfolio of thriving locations across the globe, we have found the perfect partner in infinitSpace, and we cannot wait to see beyond Quartier Heidestrasse take shape.”
