The Hustle Awards announces Maisie Adam as 2023 host

Startups Magazine and The Hustle Awards are delighted to announce Maisie Adam as the host of the Hustle Awards taking place on 20th July at Steelyard, London.

The rigorous awards are back for the fourth year, celebrating the founders, co-founders and team members who have disrupted, impacted and taken a leap of faith in the startups industry. This year, Maisie Adam will host the evening.

Maisie is an up-and-coming stand-up comedian whose career kicked off in 2017 after winning the nationwide So You Think You’re Funny? Competition, which has previously been won by many of her comedy heroes. Maisie became only the fourth woman to have won in its’ 30-year history. The following year, Maisie was nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for her debut show ‘Vague’, where she also won the Amused Moose National Comic Award.

Maisie’s anecdotal material and witty charm quickly warmed hearts up and down the country. Winning over audiences with her friendly, sometimes self-deprecating style of storytelling, Maisie makes for the perfect host for the networking event of the year.

Maisie has appeared in Mock the Week, Live at The Apollo, The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Hypothetical, and now it’s time for her to take centre stage at the Hustle Awards.
