Hustle awards 2023: Meet the judges

The Hustle Awards 2023 are upon us, taking place on July 20th, 2023 at The Steel Yard in London. Enter the awards HERE.

To get you hyped up for the marketing event of the year, here is a list of our fantastic judges for the event. 

  1. Rupal Patel: Rupal Patel is an international speaker and award-winning businesswoman who has had a thrilling career in the CIA, serving in active war zones and advising Commanding Generals. She has since earned her MBA and worked with top-tier organisations.
  2. Mark Wright: Mark Wright is an award-winning entrepreneur and digital marketing specialist, best known for winning BBC's The Apprentice and founding Climb Online, one of the UK's fastest growing digital marketing agencies. He has since invested in multiple businesses in the property, web development, public relations, and hair and beauty sectors.
  3. Áine Rogers: Áine Rogers is responsible for leading Cisco's Small Business in the UKI theatre, focusing on developing existing local routes to market and partnering with channel, distribution, and Eco System partners to best serve smaller enterprises on their digitisation journey.
  4. Saalim Chowdhury: Saalim Chowdhury is a Partner at 500 Startups London, working to increase diversity in the startup community and provide strong support for founders. He invests in founders with high quality execution and deep empathy for their customers.
  5. Amelia Sordell: Amelia Sordell is a 31-year-old speaker, startup founder of Klowt, and personal branding expert living in London. She is focused on building the personal brands of the next big entrepreneurs. 
  6. Shammi Raichura: Shammi Raichura is an Operations Lead at Uber, responsible for driving growth opportunities for the UK business, and is currently head of Cities, connecting the company's technology with the external business and policy environment.
  7. Amali de Alwis: Amali is a leader in the tech industry, having founded Subak to accelerate climate action and she serves on the boards of several organisations. Amali has been recognised for her work and has been awarded an MBE as well as being named the most influential woman in UK IT.
  8. Griselda Togobo: Griselda Togobo is a multi-faceted entrepreneur, engineer, chartered accountant, and speaker who works with CEO's and business leaders to create inclusive workplaces and develop leaders. She graduated from Cambridge University with an MPhil in Industrial Systems, Manufacturing, and Management.
  9. Simon Squibb: Simon Squibb is an experienced entrepreneur who has founded and invested in numerous businesses over the past 25 years. He is now the founder of The Purposeful Project and EntrepreneurHouse.com, which provide resources to help people learn how to start and scale a business.
  10. Jarvis Smith: Jarvis Smith, CEO of My Green Pod, is a hippie, mystic, eco-warrior, thought leader, media entrepreneur, and online retail businessman who has partnered with and advised major brands. His awakening to the destruction of the planet happened while filming a reality TV show on a Croydon landfill in 2007, and he's determined to provide a better future for all of us.
  11. Sam Jones: Sam Jones founded Gener8 to enable people to control and earn from their data. In 2021, he gave the “best pitch ever” – which has been viewed more than 30 million times – on BBC Dragons’ Den. In 2022, he won Disruptor of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur awards.
  12. Tennessee Watt: Tenessee Watt is a Brand Marketing Manager at Google and the Founder and Director of Tennessee Watt Consulting, a diversity, equity, and inclusion firm. She holds a Masters degree in Management and Innovation and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance. She has been featured in various publications.
  13. Sanj Surati: Sanj Surati is an award-winning, multi-disciplined Digital Atelier. Sanj has been working within digital and technology for more than 20-years, and believes we are in the early stages of the 4th industrial revolution.
  14. Steph Melodia: Steph Melodia has been named one of the UK's Top 20 Most Influential Female Founders and is the CEO and Founder of award-winning marketing agency, Bloom - building high-growth tech businesses with clients in the UK's top five startups. A contributing writer at Startups Magazine, Steph has been interviewed by numerous publications for her expertise and thought leadership.
  15. Lisa Eaton: Lisa Eaton is a business leader, marketing expert, speaker, and Founder of Fabric Academy - an online training provider. With more than two decades of experience in the marketing and tech space, Lisa has a track record for creating and executing successful marketing and communication strategies. Co-Founder of several companies, Lisa is a seasoned entrepreneur.
